Welcome wine and cheese party to get to know each other
Welcome dinner savoring our first night together with some regional specialties in splendid Italy time
Time to relax at the pub under the stars on our mountaintop

Walking tour of our town and your home for the next 10 days soaking in all of the town's beauty and history
Departure for Lento Winery
Lunch at an agriturismo (an organic farm that is owned and operated by farmers of both livestock and vegetation) where we dine on truly local delicacies that are all produced on site by the proprietors
Rest and relaxation...just like the locals
Off to Tiriolo...neighboring glorious mountaintop town with fantastic views...time to venture off and explore and then meet for dinner at one of my favorite privately owned restaurants in Italy...where local products are made and introduced in exciting new culinary flavors for us to enjoy and discuss over...you guessed it...wine and local beverages!
Back to our home base and to the pub to wind down under the stars...if we are lucky. or local accordion player will pay us a visit and sing us some songs!

Aperitifs on local bar -- think prosecco and awesome snacks to whet your appetite for a Sunday feast

Fabulous Sunday lunch in Serrastretta
Off to Catanzaro Lido...walk off our lunch on the scenic boardwalk or go for a late day swim in the very blue ocean
Dinner to be announced

Off to Pizzo, Calabria...visit "Chiesetta di Piedigrotta" - underground church made entirely of sand over the centuries, also touring the castle in Pizzo
Lunch in Pizzo and, of course, "Tartufo" - an infamous gelato that was birthed in Pizzo
A leisurely Passeggiata (walk) in town at the local shops or on the beach taking in the beauty
A stop at Callipo Tuna Company for those wanting to purchase some of the best Italian tuna to take home
Stop at the local "mall" for those wishing to pick up a few items and co check out an Italian mall
Back to our hometown for a much needed rest
Leisurely dinner this evening at our hometown restaurant/pizzeria
Evening stroll through town, cocktails under the stars to end the evening

Off to Tropea...visit the ancient castle, swim in the clear blue sea, shop in the multitude of interesting venues...on your own time until we meet for lunch - we will play it by ear on time
More of your own time to explore this gem in Calabria called its most beautiful location. (I think everywhere you look is beautiful!)
Back after a glorious day in the sun to our home base to relax and unwind
How about some karaoke at the pub in the evening? With a later, casual dinner and cocktails to wind down our Monday night. We will be surrounded with great company and conversation maybe in our newfound Italian dialect!

Off to the "Sila" National Park...waterfalls, canyons, gorges and ancient trees - then 18th Century villages surrounded by breathtaking scenery

Back to town to rest and relax aka sleep like the locals LOL
Early evening aperitifs and evening walk
Dinner in Marchilinara under the stars if weather permits
Pub is calling our name and by now we have our regular seats LOL

Off to Squillace, a medival walled town perched on a hill overlooking the Ionian Sea made famous for its terracotta
Tour of the castle ruins
Free time to browse the many terracotta shops and explore the winding streets of this 1,000 year old village
Off to Beach & Lunch
Back to our hometown to rest and relax
Dinner in an Italian Pub

Off to the fishing and beach coastal village of Scilla
Exploring, swimming - your choice
Seafood lunch (will accommodate ocher options)
Scenic trip back up the coast with a few stops for sightseeing
Back to town to rest and early evening cooking demo at Pizzaria with dinner to follow
Pub to unwind and nightcap (early morning Friday)
